How do I look for a specific image?

DepositPhotos has an incredibly powerful and intuitive search engine. Simply enter a few keywords that describe an image. If you have any restrictions on the type of image you’re searching for, you can also use our Advanced Search Engine. You can also search within our dozens of predefined categories to filter your search results.

To deliver fast and comprehensive results, DepositPhotos launched Search by Image. Simply click the camera icon in the search field, and upload an image or copy-and-paste the URL for an image, and the search results will contain similar images.

Quick tips to search files

Our smart search allows you to quickly and easily find what you are looking for using several parameters. To make the search process even faster, we suggest the following:

• If searching in your native language does not give you results that you need, try searching in English.
• Limit your search to just the file type you're looking for; why browse through other file types?
• If you already have a color range in mind for a particular design project, take advantage of the search by color option.
• If a photo you've found doesn't quite suit your needs, check out the similar images box at left, or look through the author's portfolio: this may lead to the solution you're looking for.
• When browsing a large number of photos, change your search parameters to return as many as 200 images, and use keyboard arrows to flip through the search results; it will definitely speed up the process.
